Pawnee County Farm Bureau

Pawnee County Farm Bureau

Pawnee County Farm Bureau sponsors awards to the county 4-H and FFA organizations for the County Livestock Show. We provide a savings IRA to the top graduating senior. Our county's main livestock include cow-calf pairs and stocker cattle. Wheat and soybeans are the main commodities grown in Pawnee County. Pawnee County is the original home of Major Gordon Lillie (Pawnee Bill) and Dick Tracy. Pawnee County is home to the Pawnee Bill Wild West Show, Oklahoma's largest annual Steam and Gas Engine Show each May, and the Pawnee Memorial IPRA Rodeo and annual cattle drive (after the rodeo) each August. Pawnee is the ''Boot Throw Capitol of Oklahoma.''
