Stephens County Farm Bureau supports the County Stock Shows and Fair. We sponsor a number of 4-H activities, including the outstanding junior member awards, 4-H demonstration contest trophies, and the first-year gate signs. Wheat and peanuts are the county's top crops. Dairy and beef cattle are the county's main livestock. We are home to Halliburton Energy and the Family Dollar Distribution Center. We have the Stephens County Museum, and the Chisholm Trail Museum, which include an information center and gift shop. The ''On the Chisholm Trail'' bronze sculpture (largest in Oklahoma, 16' x 35') stands adjacent to this museum. The sculpture shows a chuck wagon, followed by longhorn cattle and cowboys on horses on the move northward. The Simmons Center, a cultural and recreational facility, is nearby and includes Centennial Park, a free playground for children of all abilities. Check it out at: www.onthechisholmtrail.com.
