Recognizes YF&R members who have a passion for agriculture, but who do not earn a majority of their income from an owned agriculture enterprise.

YF&R Achievement Award (2024)
Recognizes YF&R members who have excelled in their farm or ranch, and have taken an active role in Farm Bureau programs and activities. Participants are involved in production agriculture with a majority of their income subject to normal production risks.

Use the online form to enter for the OKFB’s 2024 Collegiate Discussion Meet or Young Farmers & Ranchers Discussion Meet.
Collegiate Discussion Meet: The Oklahoma Farm Bureau Collegiate Discussion meet is for members of an Oklahoma Collegiate Farm Bureau chapter. The collegiate winner will compete at the 2025 American Farm Bureau Fusion Conference.
Young Farmers & Ranchers Discussion Meet: The Oklahoma Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers Discussion meet is for Farm Bureau members ages 18-35. The state YF&R discussion meet winner will compete at the 2026 American Farm Bureau Annual Conference.

OKFB’s high school discussion meet is open to Oklahoma high school students, with a maximum of two students per school.

Foundation for Agriculture
Growing with the Foundation Grant (2024)
Introduce students to the world of horticulture by applying for the Growing with the Foundation Grant Program. The recipient will receive a $10,000 grant to help in purchasing supplies for a school greenhouse. By learning to grow their own food, students will be able to see sustainable models that they can implement in their homes and neighborhood.

Community Harvest Grant (2024)
Youth organizations across the state looking to fight hunger are encouraged to apply for the Community Harvest Grant Program. Individual 4-H chapters and FFA clubs may apply for up to $1,000 to support a service-learning project focused on developing and implementing sustainable food production that addresses hunger in the community. Projects can include developing a community garden, creating a school pantry, hosting a class for the community and much more.
