YF&R to host summer conference July 12-14 in northeast Oklahoma
The Oklahoma Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee will hold its summer conference July 12-14, 2019 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Featuring the theme “The Future is Today,” OKFB members ages 18 to 35 are invited to attend the three-day event to meet fellow young farmers and ranchers from across the state, tour local agricultural facilities, and learn more about YF&R leadership opportunities and programs.
Registration for the conference is $20 per person. Hotel rooms may be booked at the Hilton Inn in Bartlesville (205 SW Frank Phillips Blvd, Bartlesville, OK 74003) for $100 per night. Breakfast is included. To register and reserve your hotel room, send in a completed registration form to OKFB YF&R Coordinator Zac Swartz by June 26.
Those interested in attending should contact their county Farm Bureau for potential sponsorship opportunities. County Farm Bureaus sponsoring first-time attendees of the conference will be reimbursed the cost of hotel rooms by the OKFB YF&R Committee.
All conference participants will be entered into a drawing to win a free trip to Louisville, Kentucky, for the 2020 American Farm Bureau Federation’s YF&R Conference.
