Applications are now open through April 15 for Oklahoma Farm Bureau’s Oklahoma Youth Leading Agriculture Conference taking place May 27-30, 2025, in Oklahoma City.
OYLA us a multi-day conference hosted each summer by the OKFB Young Farmers and Ranchers committee for a select group of our state’s top agriculture.
OYLA is open to high school students completing their junior year in 2025. The conference is designed to expand the horizons of top agriculture students through hands-on activities, agriculture-related tours, leadership development projects and engaging speakers from across the agriculture spectrum.
Students will be housed together at a local hotel, along with OKFB staff and student counselors.
Students are asked to submit their leadership experiences, high school transcript, SAT or ACT scores, cumulative GPA and a 150-word essay based on their most significant leadership experience. All applications must be signed by an official representative of the student’s school.
The event cost is $100 for student who are selected to attend the conference.
OYLA applications are available at county Farm Bureau offices or may be downloaded from the applications center on the OKFB website.
