The Scott and Allison Armbruster Family of Burlington received the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee’s District Seven Farm and Ranch Family Recognition during the organization’s 77th annual meeting on Saturday, Nov. 17 in Norman. The Armbrusters farm in Alfalfa County just south of Burlington. The family has 1,200 acres where they grow alfalfa, wheat, soybeans and milo and care for a cow/calf herd. Three board members were re-elected by voting delegates at Oklahoma Farm Bureau’s 77th Annual Meeting Nov. 16-18 in Norman, Oklahoma. Monte Tucker of Sweetwater, Oklahoma, was re-elected to a three-year term on the OKFB board of directors representing District Two. He will serve Farm Bureau members in Beckham, Custer, Greer, Harmon, Jackson, Kiowa, Roger Mills, Tillman and Washita counties. Members in District Five re-elected Gary Crawley of Savanna to serve a three-year term on the OKFB board of directors.
