OKFB Ag PAC endorses congressional, state candidates ahead of June primary
The Oklahoma Farm Bureau Ag PAC political action committee has endorsed five congressional candidates and 30 state candidates ahead of Oklahoma’s primary election on Tuesday, June 18. The state Ag PAC board – a group of Farm Bureau members selected by their respective OKFB districts – met in late May to discuss candidates based on feedback gathered from county and districtwide PAC meetings throughout the month of May. OWRB to host third round of stakeholder input meetings in April and May
The Oklahoma Water Resources Board is set to host the third round of stakeholder input meetings in April and May. As the largest user of water in Oklahoma, it is crucial for agriculture to have a voice in these meetings. The stakeholder meetings will center on the impending updates to Oklahoma’s Comprehensive Water Plan with discussions on water policy, future water supply and demand, water challenges and more. Applications now open for 2024 Capitol Camp
Oklahoma Farm Bureau is now accepting applications for Capitol Camp, set for June 12-13, 2024, at the Oklahoma state Capitol in Oklahoma City. Capitol Camp is an immersive two-day legislative experience for incoming high school juniors and seniors to learn about Oklahoma’s legislative process and how bills become law through a mock legislature held on the floor of the Oklahoma House of Representatives. Oklahoma Farm Bureau members will make the trek to Salt Lake City, Utah, later this week to attend the 2024 American Farm Bureau Annual Meeting Jan. 19-24.
