More than 60 Oklahoma Farm Bureau members gathered for the annual Young Farmers and Ranchers summer conference held July 10 – 12 in Oklahoma City. Conference participants had the opportunity to tour local agricultural facilities in the Oklahoma City metro area. American Plant Products and Services, owned by OKFB President Rodd Moesel, serves as a wholesale plant product company that provides greenhouse construction as well as horticulture necessities to universities and commercial entities nationwide. The Oklahoma Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers committee has awarded eight high school seniors with a $1,000 college scholarship. The deadline for students to apply to receive one of nine $1,000 college scholarships from the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers Committee has been extended to April 30, 2020. Nine $1,000 scholarships, one from each OKFB district, will be awarded to high school seniors pursuing a career in agriculture at an Oklahoma institution of high learning as a full-time student.
