A continuing resolution has been proposed in Washington, D.C., that would allow a one-year extension of the farm bill and provide additional disaster relief.
Congressman Frank Lucas and Congressman Tom Cole have worked diligently to support this resolution, and Oklahoma Farm Bureau is thankful for their efforts.
“Oklahoma Farm Bureau members are grateful for Congressmen Lucas and Cole and their hard work and advocacy on a continuing resolution that would ensure a farm bill extension with added economic assistance and disaster relief,” said OKFB President Rodd Moesel. “We appreciate their tireless efforts to work on behalf of farmers and ranchers in Washington, and we urge the rest of Oklahoma’s congressional delegation to support the proposed resolution with a yes vote.”
Farm Bureau members are encouraged to call their congressperson and encourage a yes vote on the farm bill extension and disaster relief.
