The application deadline is drawing near for Oklahoma Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee’s Farm Family of the Year award, which recognizes a top farm and ranch family in rural Oklahoma. Applications from around the state must be submitted by Aug. 1.
Once applications from around Oklahoma are collected, a farm family from each of the nine OKFB districts will be chosen to represent their region at the OKFB annual meeting in Oklahoma City.
The OKFB WLC’s Farm Family of the Year award shines a spotlight on the important contribution farm families make across Oklahoma, not only in our state’s pastures in fields, but also in our rural communities.
The OKFB Farm Family of the Year will be announced at the organization’s annual meeting. The winning family receives wide recognition in OKFB publications and receives a variety of special prizes.
The application can be found on OKFB’s Application Center here. For more information, contact the Oklahoma Farm Bureau WLC coordinator Marcia Irvin at 405-523-2405.
