Oklahoma Farm Bureau women are invited to attend three OKFB Women’s Leadership Committee events during the annual convention Nov. 11-13.
The three events – the WLC Business Meeting, Program of Work Luncheon and WLC Coffee Talk – are designed for all women of Farm Bureau, even those who do not have a county WLC, to connect with like-minded women, learn more about opportunities OKFB WLC has to offer and celebrate the accomplishments of 2022.
Friday afternoon, Nov. 11 at 3 p.m. all women are encouraged to attend the WLC Business Meeting, where districts 3, 5, 6 and 9 will elect a representative to serve on the state Women’s Leadership Committee and all delegates will select a representative for the American Farm Bureau Convention Jan. 6-11 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Delegate registration will close at 2:45 p.m.
Every year, counties carry out the purpose of the WLC through the Program of Work. The Program of Work Luncheon will honor those counties who completed the 2022 Program of Work Saturday, Nov. 12 at 11:30 a.m., and all Farm Bureau women are invited to learn more about the work of WLC.
Women are invited to attend a WLC Coffee Talk session on Sunday, Nov. 13 at 7:15 a.m., prior to the worship service. All Farm Bureau women are invited to attend the conference and coffee talk regardless if the county organization has an established WLC.
