In place of its typical in-person Leadership Conference, Oklahoma Farm Bureau this year will host its first Leadership Week Feb. 1-5 to engage members across the state in the legislative process. Oklahoma Farm Bureau was recognized for its support of the American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture during the 2021 AFBF Virtual Convention Foundation Night In on Jan. 11. Named the top state Farm Bureau in its membership category for donations to the AFBF Foundation, OKFB received the Scholar Award for contributions from its state board members, county Farm Bureaus and the OKFB Women’s Leadership Committee. As another year begins, Oklahoma Farm Bureau President Rodd Moesel recently weighed in on the lingering issues facing Oklahoma’s farmers and ranchers in a story in The Oklahoman. Oklahoma Farm Bureau has been awarded State Awards of Excellence in four out of four possible program areas by American Farm Bureau. The four areas in which OKFB received the State Awards of Excellence are advocacy, engagement and outreach, leadership and business development, and membership value. OKFB was one of 30 state Farm Bureaus that received awards for demonstrating outstanding achievements during the 2020 membership year.
