The Pottawatomie and Seminole County Farm Bureaus will host a public forum with the ten candidates seeking House District 28 Thursday, Feb. 16 at 6 p.m. at the Seminole County Farm Bureau office.
Open to the public, the forum will allow House District 28 voters to meet the candidates and hear about their legislative priorities. Food will be provided for all attendees.
“As voters and citizens, it’s important for us to meet our candidates and make an educated decision on who we send to the state Capitol,” said Syd Morgan, Seminole County Farm Bureau board member. “Our forum is the perfect opportunity for House District 28 voters to hear directly from the candidates wishing to represent us.”
The special election will be held to replace Rep. Tom Newell who recently resigned.
