Oklahoma Farm Bureau is looking forward to having Addison Baker and Paul Metcalfe as the two speakers during our vespers session during convention this year.
Addison Baker, 12 years old from Norman, Oklahoma… just loves singing! She performs for many events throughout the metro and has been performing the National Anthem for The OKC Thunder and OU sporting events since she was 7.
She just recently sang at Texas Motor Speedway for the IZOD IndyCar Series Event-The Firestone 550 which was nationally televised on ABC!
She opened for Wanda Jackson at the Music4Moore benefit concert, was the kick-off performer for the Norman Music Festival with headliner Leon Russell, and won the 2009 OKC Festival Idol! She has appeared in several commercials, music videos, print campaigns and the movies Yellow and Just Crazy Enough.
Paul Metcalfe, who will be our speaker during the vespers session, is an ordained minister with an in-depth background in both church service and military service. He is trained and ready to teach from a broad scope of formal and informal skill sets and life experiences.
Paul has over twenty eight years of honorable and dedicated military service with over twenty years of human resource management and leadership as an Army officer. His experience in the military ranges from being an Executive Officer at the United States Field Artillery School at Fort Sill to being a Commander in the U.S. Army at Altus and much, much more. Paul retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2008.
Paul is a committed Follower of Jesus Christ and has been married to his wife, Lisa for over twenty four years. Together they have three children, Adam, Aaron, and Kaitlyn. As a family, they enjoy singing, traveling and spending time together. Paul also enjoys Mission Trips, trout fishing, hunting, athletics, playing the bass guitar and working cattle. Their family dream is to own some land and operate a small cow-calf operation.
